The NPA Seed Exchange
Each year, the Seed Exchange prepares many types of seed provided from the NPA Border at the Bellevue Botanical Garden and our members’ gardens. All seed is welcome, whether familiar old standbys such as Aquilegia (Columbine) and Lathyrus (Sweet Pea) or the rarest of the rare.
We try to supply quantities of seed equal to or greater than those given by the major seed houses at a greatly reduced price. Seed is available for purchase by NPA members and nonmembers alike online and at all NPA lectures and NPA plant sales.

How to donate seed: For each plant, cut seed stalks when ripe, place upside down in kraft paper grocery bags (never plastic), and fold the tops shut. Note on the outside of the bag the name of the plant (be as specific as possible), bloom color, date seed was collected and your name. For delivery, contact the Seed Exchange or bring the seed to the September or November NPA lectures at Bellevue Botanical Garden.
